- Feedstock impregnation/impregnation module: This module includes a second high pressure vessel (250 ml) and a cyclic pump that ensures continuous circulation of supercritical CO2 through both vessels. The 250 ml vessel contains a liquid reagent, solution or other component soluble in supercritical CO2, which is to be transferred to the substrate included in the main 500 ml vessel. CO2 is first pumped into the smaller vessel and allows the impregnation material to dissolve. The valves between the two vessels are then opened and the CO2 pump is turned on to equalize the pressure to the set point. The cyclic pump is then started, which continuously circulates the dissolved impregnating material through the substrate.

- Module for feed impregnation/impregnation. - Micronization module. The micronization module includes a pump for collecting liquid with an adjustable volumetric flow rate, a steel basket-collector for collecting microparticles, and a coaxial nozzle installed inside the collector. Coaxial flow of supercritical CO2 acts as an antisolvent and causes precipitation of sample solution components poorly soluble in CO2 from a fine aerosol into microparticles
